Who we are?
Illumination House International Ministries Inc. was founded in 2019 by Dr. James O. Jood, an ardent Evangelist who is a propagator of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has a divine mandate to win millions of souls for Christ by spreading the light in his word.
After operating abroad for about 5years, the ministry became fully registered as a Non-Profit Christian organization in Canada in April 2024.
The ministry is ordained by God to host events such as prayer conferences, worship experiences, revivals and crusades from city to city with a divine theme tagged "HEAVEN ON EARTH" (Matt 6:10 "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven)".
It is no longer news that the second coming of our LORD Jesus Christ draws nigh, and gross darkness is fast covering the people according to Isaiah 60 vs 1-3, but only light bearers in this end time would be able to shine bright and illuminate the world around them, so that they won’t walk in darkness, confusion and perdition; instead gentiles would come to their light, and kings to the brightness of their blazing illumination.
All of these would only be possible if our lives are hidden in Christ who is the light of the world and whose word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths (Psa. 119 vs 105).
This is why our teachings are centred on Jesus Christ and his ultimate gift of salvation through the shedding of his blood on the cross of calvary for the remission of our sins.

Jesus is LORD.
The greatest miracle one could ever receive is of the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our LORD and being shown how to consistently fellowship and walk with the LORD. This makes us a representation and carrier of his kingdom within us here on earth.
About the Founder.
Dr. James is an ardent Evangelist who is a propagator of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was called by God to be a carrier of the marvelous light of the gospel of Jesus in this end times. He has a divine mandate to win millions of souls for Christ by spreading the light in God’s word.
He is a trained scientist who has a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Production, and Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Animal Nutrition. He worked briefly with University of Ilorin, Nigeria, but currently works in a senior position at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
He started ministry in 2008 after God’s call on his life as a music minister, when he founded the Interdenominational United Choir in Ilorin, Nigeria, bringing people from different Christian denominations to worship God as one body. He started holding concerts since 2008, writing and recording gospel songs as well, but was also engaged with studying in the University for thirteen years non-stop.
By Divine instruction and mandate, he founded Illumination House International Ministries in 2019, which became fully registered in Canada in April 2024. James has ever since been waiting on God for the word “Go”. Once the word came, he launched out fully in God’s might.
He attended the Word of Faith Bible Institute of the Living Faith Church (a.k.a Winners Chapel), founded by Bishop David Oyedepo where he obtained two Certificates and one Diploma. After this, he proceeded to Benny Hinn's School of Ministry. His passion is for God's kingdom here on earth be established and populated before the second coming of Jesus Christ.
